MOMS AND DADS TALK
BACK-TO-SCHOOL
Brand loyalty is out the window as the economy continues to nose-dive. Yet, that list of school stationery supplies doesn’t seem to get any shorter. And, as some parents may testify, the list could contain anything from a pencil to a roll of toilet paper.
As the cost of living continues to hit pockets hard, ticking boxes on the whole list may seem impossible. We did an in-depth study of the challenges that parents experience when shopping in-store for back-to-school stationery. We asked which factor replaced brand loyalty, where they shop, and which items are prioritised.
Discover more facts from our survey like:
- Only 30% of parents are still brand conscious
- with another 30% stating that they’ll
buy trusted brands for specific
products - 60% would purchase stationery
from grocery stores
