    Opportunity
    Grant’s boasts a diverse portfolio of whisky variants, but lacked an effective in-store merchandising and display solution. This challenge presented VF! with the opportunity to develop a solution that would enhance Grant’s brand presence and showcase its full whisky range in the category. The goal was to boost positive shopper behaviour through strategic design, impactful presentation, and increased brand visibility.
    Insight
    South African consumers continue to seek small, joyful indulgences, with premium spirits like Grant’s Whisky seen as affordable luxuries. However, the off-trade whisky category remains outdated and struggles to engage a modern, younger, style-conscious audience. This presents a significant opportunity for Grant’s Whisky to revitalise the category by sharing contemporary, premium stories—emphasising its superior taste, award-winning quality, established heritage, high-end positioning, and imported status. Additionally, building trust through positive online reviews and a presence in top-tier restaurants will strengthen its appeal.
    Solution
    The solution is a disruptive freestanding display unit that is both impactful and robust, made from high-quality sheet metal and finished with a sleek powder coating. It features interchangeable artwork and messaging, powered by magnetically fastened panels for easy updates. This creates a striking, durable display that combines functionality with visual sophistication, ideal for in-store merchandising and brand visibility.
